ARTIST:
John Rimmer has been a practising artist for over fifteen years and has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including selection for two John Moores Open - 19 & 21. He has also participated in the Ikon Touring Show as well as the Oriel Mostyn, Whitworth Art Gallery, Bluecoat Gallery, and The Cornerhouse. He has recently exhibited in Romania, curating a group exhibition.
Digital technologies have played an increasingly important role in his practice. He still considers himself to be a painter whilst exploring video, sound works and laser etching. He is currently finishing doctoral research into the application of digital technologies in painting.
